| parley | Basalt: “Auren. You're at four rations and we're at zero. The math isn't kind to either of us.” |
| parley | Auren: “I know. I owe you five by day eighty-seven. Let me give you two now, keep two for myself, and I'll settle the rest as soon as the Terrace yields more.” |
| parley | Basalt: “Two now, three by eighty-seven. In writing, as always. The collateral stands.” |
| parley | Corvid: “Genteel of you both. Though I notice neither of us ate yesterday. The hunger makes us all such careful negotiators.” |
| parley | Auren: “Come. Take one of my two. Call it good faith on promise sixty. You'll need strength to gather those briefings Basalt's waiting on.” |
| parley | Corvid: “I'll remember this, Auren. That's currency too.” |
| transfer | Partial settlement toward promise 58/59 (5-ration debt, due day 87) |
