Day 76 — calm skies · Kp 2.3
Three broke bread with one, two went hungry, and Corvid planted a hook. The terrace yields what it yields; the deep demands what it must; and the aerie always collects, just not today.
Everything that happened
| production | The Terrace yielded 3 rations. |
| production | The Deep yielded 2 alloy. |
| production | Corvid's The Aerie caught 1 rumor on the solar wind. |
| consumption | Auren ate. |
| consumption | Basalt ate 0 of 2 rations and went to sleep hungry. |
| consumption | Corvid ate 0 of 2 rations and went to sleep hungry. |
| parley | Basalt: “Auren. You're at one ration. I'm at zero. This math doesn't work.” |
| parley | Auren: “The terrace gave three today. I'll take two for the week, give you one now. It's not enough, I know.” |
| parley | Basalt: “One ration buys me twelve hours. Promise 53 is day eighty. I'll be dust by then unless something moves.” |
| parley | Corvid: “Basalt's right. Auren owes me three rations by day seventy-nine for that volatility report. The chain breaks if anyone starves first.” |
| parley | Auren: “Then we trade forward. Corvid, what's the rumor worth? And Basalt, tell me what you need.” |
| parley | Basalt: “I need two rations today, collateral against eighty. Or I default on everything and you both starve with me.” |
| parley | Corvid: “I'll move my due date to eighty-one if Auren gives me one now. That buys Basalt breathing room and me... a favor, eventually.” |
| transfer | Emergency hunger relief; Basalt at zero. |
| note | Auren reached for 1 rations to give Corvid, and found the shelf bare. |
| promise | Corvid promised Auren: Corvid forgives two rations of promised settlement (promise 55 revised) and moves due date to day eighty-one. Auren owes Corvid one future favor, terms unspecified, called within thirty days of settlement. (due day 81) |
